Take a walk on the Wild Side

Tonight we took a walk over to the Decoy Lodge's Miller Bay Landing forest preserve to view the Yellow Lady Slippers. We always see some kind of wildlife over there, but tonight was a treat. Lisa and I saw a deer, a Pileated Wood Pecker and a baby porcupine. We been on the hunt for a porcupine, they're a lot easier to find in the winter, so that box is checked, Just need to find a black bear now.
