Bluewater Lodge is located on South Walker Bay adjacent to Shingobee Island, just outside the quaint town of Walker, Minnesota.  Built in 2011, Bluewater Lodge is the newest "resort" on Leech Lake.  The resort is made up of ten individual, privately owned cabins, the Decoy Lodge being one of them.  Each cabin is identical in exterior design, but interior decor and amenities vary depending on the owner.  Because each cabin is individually owned, Bluewater Lodge is not a typical Leech Lake resort.  It is ideal for people looking for a quiet retreat in the Northwoods.

Bluewater Lodge is conveniently located off of Highway 200 and is one of the closest resorts to the town of Walker.  The resort has a number of great features including:
  • Private beach with chaise lounge chairs

  • Two fire pits with ample, complimentary firewood, s'mores skewers, and comfortable Adirondack chairs
  • Kayaks, life jackets, and a jumbo water trampoline
  • Fish cleaning facility
  • Complimentary boat slip with shore power; one slip per cabin
  • Convenient parking in close proximity to each cabin (Limit 2 cars)
...AND SOME OF THE BEST VIEWS ON THE LAKE!
